Meet Dino Giovanni Silvestri - I’m Dino Silvestri, a 34-year-old native islander, graduated from Mazapan High School in 2008 and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2012 with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Raised in the vibrant heart of the Caribbean, I’ve spent my life immersed in the culture, history, and beauty of our tropical paradise.
Former Governor: I had the honor of serving as one of the youngest governor in our islands’ history and the youngest in the Country. During my term, I focused on sustainable development, community empowerment, and handled all communications between government and the general population during the COVID 19 Pandemic. My experience in governance taught me the importance of collaboration, negotiation, and strategic planning.
Insurance Broker: As one of the few licensed insurance brokers on the island, I learned the art of risk assessment and protection. I specialize in corporate insurance but no asset is too big or too small.
I seek out to create lifelong relationships with our clients as they continue to grow and safeguard their future.
Legacy of Hospitality: My family has been in the restaurant business since 1952 and we have the oldest continuously standing restaurant (30 years) in Roatan, Gios King Crab House—a gathering place where locals and visitors alike share laughter, stories, and unforgettable meals. I treat every client like family, offering personalized service and a warm welcome.
